Reverence is a deep feeling of honor, awe, or profound respect, often tinged with admiration or religious awe. It describes a high level of esteem for someone or something sacred. Synonyms include veneration, adoration, worship, esteem, honor, and deference.

Patanjali's Yoga Sūtra is very clear regarding how to achieve success in our practice. We must tend It for an extended period, without interruption, and with reverence. The first two components of this prescription are self-explanatory. The third is a bit more elusive. In this complete practice we will explore the nature of reverence and how we can infuse our practice and our lives with its transformational magic.
