Your true essence is —

pure, luminous, potent, powerful, and eternal.

Pause to consider that.

Untouched by the life you’ve lived, the choices you’ve made, the things that have happened to you, this divine spark never tarnishes, fades, or goes away.  Yoga Sūtra 1:36 points to the essence of who you truly are as an entirely inherent radiance accompanied by an experience of Self as a deep and abiding joy beyond the reach of suffering.

Many of us have a hard time accepting  or even imagining  that our true nature is luminescent. We reject the notion that we could be anything other than hopelessly flawed, damaged, irreparable beings.  Often we resign ourselves to the belief that we are victims of circumstance forced to struggle through life as best we can, clinging to any fleeting pleasure that comes our way, and avoiding pain like the plague. Tantric Yoga has taught me, through years of my own life-altering experience, that there is another way.

How does the practice of yoga begin?

That depends on what we're drawn to.  There are many ways of practicing yoga and pursuing any one path usually leads to a craving for a taste of the others.  I was initially drawn to the physical practice of yoga āsana because it gave me a way to channel my excessive energy and erratic mind.  Through āsana I developed a relationship with my breath and as stillness became more accessible, I began to explore meditation. When I found something called Vishoka Meditation, there was no going back.

Some practitioners prefer an academic pursuit of yogic studies, or are drawn to yoga for its therapeutic benefits.  Others find deep fulfillment by connecting with the divine through acts and expressions of devotion. There is no one right way.  However we begin, the way in which we progress is much the same.  As our practice develops, we become increasingly aware of our holistic nature, realizing that while we are made of body, breath and mind, the sum of our parts is so much more.

Who and what we truly are becomes clear, and our false perceptions – who we are not – begin to fade away.

This is the gift of Tantric Yoga.  Through a dedicated practice of tried and true systems of philosophy and methodology, Tantric Yoga brings us home to ourSelf.  It leads us to a life of peace, purpose, power, unconditional love, and joy beyond all sorrow.

So, are you ready?

Yoga has given me an entirely new lease on life.

I was once anxiety-riddled, validation-seeking, victim-identifying and doubtful of my worth. Now I am genuinely joyful, peaceful, mentally and emotionally stable — most days — and grateful to be alive.

My relationship with yoga spans twenty years and I've been sharing it with others for ten.  In that time my practice has grown from a form of physical experience to a holistic reintegration with myself. Tantric Yoga has given me a deep appreciation for life, clarity of purpose, intimacy with all that is sacred in this world, and deep connection with myself, with nature, and other really incredible human beings.

A teacher of teachers, I identify as practitioner first, and remain a lifelong student of the Himalayan Tradition under the guidance of Pandit Rajmani Tigunait. I hold the the unbroken lineage of the Himalayan Masters close to my heart.

My teaching is down-to-earth — yet also highly mystical — approach to traditional Tantric Yoga interweaving philosophy, psychology, meditation, contemplation, āsana, prāṇāyāma, yoga nidra, mantra, and a lot more. I share only what I have embodied through my own direct experience and study, or through the power of transmission from my teacher.

My whole goal as a teacher is to help you realize that you are the creator of your own destiny — you determine your experience of life. Life can be a heaven or life can be a hell, all depending on how you relate to it. Once you make this realization we can set about nurturing your mind to orient toward beauty, freedom, and joy.

By sharing myself openly as an imperfect human being, and by nurturing a community of courageous, compassionate, curious souls, I endeavor to provide opportunities for true and thorough transformation. It isn't a quick fix and it isn't always pleasant or fun, but I know of nothing more worthwhile. It would be an honor to walk with you on your journey home to your highest Self.
