Together WE SHINE — 'Don't Look Away'

There is a new moon this week signaling an opportunity for deep reflection into the shadowy parts of our psyche — the places we avoid and deny where fear, anger, hatred, greed, scarcity, and jealousy lie outside the light of consciousness. The very aspects of ourselves that we are afraid to face, which make it feel impossible to witness similar suffering in the world. The parts of our psyche that tempt us to distract ourselves, stay ignorant or bury our heads in the sand.

When we get very quiet and still we can become aware of what is lurking in the shadows, in need of healing light. Until we have the courage to bring even the darkest contents of our minds into awareness we will continue to be at their mercy in moments of unconscious reactivity.
